Napoli have joined Arsenal and Liverpool in the race to sign Real Madrid forward and January target Jese.The two Premier League clubs have been watching Jese for several months now and both are keen on making a bid for the player, who has seen little action for Real this season.
And now according to Spanish newspaper AS, Napoli have entered the race to sign the Spaniard.
The Italian giants recently scouted him during Real Champions League match with Paris Saint-Germain and are now the frontrunners for his signature.
The 22-year old has only started four La Liga matches so far this season and was taken off after just over an hour played against PSG, but the Serie A side were not put off by that and rated his performance highly.
Jese has publicly announced that he is happy at Real and does not wish to move, but there have been some reports stating that he is unhappy with his lack of playing time and has contemplated leaving the Santiago Bernabeu.
Napoli have previous when buying a striker from Madrid, when they signed Gonzalo Higuain and they are hoping to convince Los Blancos to sell one of their most talented starlets.
And talkSport are claiming that Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri has target Jese as his number one transfer priority for January.
