At long last, and no matter when Real Madrid thought it happened, Cristiano Ronaldo is now a record breaker.

His 324th goal for the Spanish giants came against Levante this Saturday in a 3-0 win and he was wearing a special pair of boots called the Nike Mercurial Superfly 324K Gold to achieve his feat.

Cristiano certainly seems to like his new footwear. Though we are reliably informed that they aren't actually made out of gold worth €324,000.

Drawing attention to Cristiano Ronaldo‘s insane scoring exploits seems almost pointless at this stage.

Cristiano is now Real Madrid‘s leading scorer with 324 goals and he also recently moved beyond 500 career goals for all clubs, which is just ridiculous. Scoring all of those goals in Nike Mercurial boots is something worth celebrating though, as Ronaldo continues to break new ground in the attack focused footwear.

Marking the ridiculous achievement, Nike have created two new CR7 Mercurial Superfly boots, the Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 324k Gold and Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 Quinhentos, both taking inspiration from Ronaldo’s favourite Mercurial Vapor 3 design.

The Mercurial Superfly CR7 Gold will be exclusively available via the Nike Football App in January 2016, while the Mercurial Superfly CR7 Quinhentos will be available exclusively via the Nike Football App later on in March 2016.
