JAVIER PASTORE has warned Chelsea that they will face intense competition for the signing of Lionel Messi if the Argentine elects to leave Barcelona.
Messi has been heavily linked with a move away from Barca after a massive bust-up with manager Luis Enrique.And Chelsea have been tipped as the most likely club to pull off a move for the unsettled star.
Reports suggest that the Blues have already made contact with Messi's father over a proposed £200m move.
But Pastore - who plays alongside Messi at international level - says Paris Saint-Germain will fight hard to bring the 27-year-old to Ligue 1 if he genuinely wants to leave.

"Money will not be a problem. The club has the resources to buy a number of Messis."
It now remains to be seen what steps Barca take to appease their star, with Messi reportedly insisting that it's either him or Enrique at the Camp Nou moving forward.
Pastore has himself been linked with moves to Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool in recent times but now seems content to remain at PSG and see if they can pull off an audacious move for Messi..
