Borrusia Dortmund legend Lars Ricken revealed that the Bundesliga giants are considering playing a friendly in Malaysia next year.
Ricken, who won three Bundesliga titles and a UEFA Champions League with Dortmund and was capped 16 times by Germany, was appearing on Astro SuperSport’s Football Overload alongside Dortmund’s Commercial Director, Carsten Kramer.
“So, we want to create a touch point [with them] and I hope we will have a friendly match here next summer.”
Kramer added: “We can confirm that we will make an Asian tour [especially after] we just opened an office in Singapore.
“Because we only have a limited time, we maybe can play two friendlies in Asia.
"We have Shinji [Kagawa] onboard, which means we have to go to Japan because the Japanese people are crazy about him.”
