FIFPro, the worldwide representative for 65,000 professional footballers, together with FIFA, will unveil the FIFA FIFPro World XI at the Ballon D’Or ceremony at Zurich’s Kongresshaus, on January 13.
This is the ninth year FIFPro has coordinated professionals from every corner of the globe to join together in deciding an award which carries unrivalled significance of peer recognition.
A record number of votes from tens of thousands of players have been counted by FIFPro to produce a 55-man shortlist from which the FIFA FIFPro World XI will be announced, in a 4-3-3 formation.
