Aston Villa have completed the signing of Nicky Shorey from Reading on a three-year deal.

Nicky Shorey has completed his move from Reading to Aston Villa on a three-year deal.
The fee is as yet undisclosed, but the left-back (pictured, playing for England against Brazil), has been looking to leave the Madejski stadium for a year now, long before their eventual relegation at the end of last season.
Though Reading boss Steve Coppell was reluctant to lose one of his star players, earlier this week he accepted that it was the player's decision to move on and expected a deal finalised before the end of the week.
"Left-back Nicky Shorey this evening completed his move from Reading, signing a three-year Villa Park deal," read a statement on Villa's official website.
"The England international becomes Martin O'Neill's fourth new signing of the summer, joining Brad Friedel, Brad Guzan and former Royals man Steve Sidwell."
The fee is thought to be in the region of £5 million.
