Amauri, who is acquiring an Italian passport, scored 15 league goals last season and was much in demand, with Milan and clubs in England also interested.

Midfielder Antonio Nocerino moves to the Sicily side as part of the deal, lowering Juve's payment to Palermo by 7.5 million euros.

Amauri Carvalho De Oliveira turns 28 on June 3. He joins Juve after two seasons at Palermo, where he closed his last season on 15 goals, for a total of 23 goals in 52 games.

He began his professional career with Swiss side Bellinzona, then moved on to Italy playing with Napoli, Piacenza, Messina and Chievo Verona.
