Chelsea and Manchester United agree provisional £40m deal for Juan Mata
Manchester United have made an official bid for Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata.
It is reported that United have made a £40million bid for the 25-year-old, who missed training today in London, which could be a sign that he's ready to exchange Stamford Bridge for Old Trafford.
Mata's representitives flew in from Spain earlier today in order to talk to United officials and now it is believed that a formal bid has been made through a third party, and it is expected that the bid will be accepted after Jose Mourinho asked for £40m for the Spaniard.
It has also been reported elsewhere that Mata has told family and friends that he is joining Manchester United.
