Ronaldinho: I’ll be in Beijing
Brazilian megastar Ronaldinho has been given the green-light by his new club AC MIlan to represent his country in the Olympics.
The Italian giants are over the moon following their successful capture of the two-time World Player of the Year, and were not about to risk rocking the boat straightaway by standing in the way of Ronaldinho's Olympic dream.
Milan chief Adriano Galliani confirmed that their new star would first be shining in Beijing before setting alight the San Siro
"We respect the obligation that he took on before he came to Milan," Galliani told the local press.
"If he had already been a Rossonero, we would not have let him go, but as he is joining us later we will let him go to the Olympics."
Rossoneri boss Carlo Ancelotti showed no signs of frustration that he won't be able to work with his new Brazilian star for the whole month of August, and chose instead to see a silver lining.
"It is a chance for him to find his fitness," Ancelotti said. "When he comes back he will be ready. He will only need to learn his place in our system."
