Arsenal Star Worried About Scolari Impact

Arsenal mdfielder Denilson has not held back on praise for Brazilian manager Luiz Felipe Scolari, even though he has just signed for a sworn enemy.

The Blues’ appointment of the man who led Brazil to their fifth World Cup in 2002 has certainly captured the imagination, and the enthusiasm is clearly not limited to the extended Chelsea family.

“He’s a very experienced coach, one of the best in the world. He’s a big man, and a father figure, similar to Arsene Wenger," Denilson said in a frank interview in the latest issue of the Official Arsenal Magazine

"He will joke with the players, get on well with them, but is also a tough guy.

“He can be strict but he is well respected,"the 20-year-old added. "Gilberto has spoken to me about him, about his style, and it will be interesting to see him at Chelsea.”

Denilson, in the meanwhile, has already gone on record as saying that he aims to be far more than just a bit-part player for Arsenal this season.

The Brazilian midfielder was used mostly as a substitute by Arsene Wenger last season, but the French manager has already said that he believes that the ex Sao Paolo starlet is capable of filling the void in midfield left by Flamini.
